Sales Team Training on How to Motivate Employees using Free Motivation Techniques

Sales team training using free motivation techniques gives you great ideas that won’t cost you a penny.

Learn how to motivate your employees.

Create a sales and motivation training program.

Use the free resources available on the Internet.

The Internet is packed with great free motivation and sales training information.

Here’s a great way to use it to motivate your sales team for free.

Be the first in your organisation to put this idea into action and claim the credit.

...It only takes one person to start this technique rolling and others soon join in..

This quickly builds it into a great company resource, and you could start it moving today with one easy action that you’ll see later.

I’m a working sales manager with a large sales team. On this page I’ll show you how my sales team put together an effective motivation training tool that they can now use whenever they need it.

These sales team training and free motivation techniques have given my team:

  • Increased sales team motivation
  • A free motivation resource for your sales team
  • Time saving motivation techniques that they have helped to build

Sales teams get the best results when they can get quick bursts of motivation and free access to new sales training ideas and techniques.

But sales managers don’t always have the time to be constantly motivating their sales teams and finding new ideas. Using the techniques here you can set up a system of self motivation and sales training for your team. The great part is it takes very little time to set up and run, and the results are well worth it.

How this sales team training
worked for my team

The Internet is packed full of free information that could benefit you and your sales team.

One of the reasons people don’t use the free motivation resources on the Internet is that it often takes time to find the information and training that you need right now.

I work in sales, and I know time is precious.

To save time and make the best use of this free resource, try this sales team training.

Have you clicked around the Internet and found websites, like this one, with free sales training, motivation techniques, and product and industry knowledge for your market place?

Have you got websites in your favourites bar that you never get back to?

You read the website, find something interesting, and perhaps put it to good use.

But do you use it for self motivation, or to motivate your sales team, when it is most needed?

To build a usable sales team training and motivation resource I started by collecting the Links to websites on sales training, how to motivate employees, and product knowledge for my industry. When my sales team saw what I was doing they wanted to join in. It turned into a great team building project.

How my sales team use these
motivation techniques

My sales team now have a list of links to great websites stored where they can quickly be accessed.

They have bought into the idea because they helped to build it. The other action that has made this sales team training really effective is that we have set times when we use these motivation techniques.

...Setting time aside for training and motivation is a great investment, and one you should seriously consider for you, and your sales team..

There a certain times of the week when a quick burst of motivation, a new sales training idea, or examples of proven marketing techniques, are most effective:

Monday morning after a weekend break 15 minutes on a good website, with short sharp self motivation techniques, can get you into a selling state.

Friday morning we have found clicking on websites with time management, or prospecting tips, which can be used the following week, can have a great effect.

When you have a tough day facing difficult objections and can’t close sales, then a sales training site, like this one, is a good way to finish the day.

Around midweek we spend some time looking for industry and market place knowledge that we can share with customers to build our credibility.

The above are examples of how we use these sales team training motivation techniques. You can adapt them, develop them, and find how to motivate your employees using Internet links.

How to put this sales team training into action today

Here’s how I put this sales team training on motivation techniques into action with the new sales teams.

Build the list of links

Present the idea of building an Internet based training and motivation resource to your sales team. Show them a few examples of websites that you use for sales training and information.

...Use this website as an example..

Ask them to submit their own favourite sites. Get them to go through their favourites list on their PC’s, log into their search history, and ask them to click around the Internet to find new and interesting websites. Get them involved, show them the benefits, and ask for their feedback.

Decide where to keep the list of links

Decide upon the best place to keep your list of team sales training and motivation websites. You want somewhere that is easy to access, will be remembered, and is accessible by all the sales team. It must also be somewhere that the information and new links can be added regularly.

If your organisation has a company intranet then find a good place to start building your sales training resource for your sales team. Shared drives and folders are another good place to park this full list of the links. You might think of other ideas such as sending it out in a company newsletter, or simply mailing the list to your sales team on a regular basis.

Add some information to each link

To make this list of sales team training and motivation links effective, add a brief description to each link. Just a few comments to indicate if the link is about motivation techniques, sales training, or product and industry knowledge.

Ask your team to add these comments when they submit a new link to be added to the list. You could take this further and add a rating system from 1 to 5 on how effective and useful they think the website is.

Keep the list updated

Keep the list updated and over time you will build an enormous resource of sales training and motivation techniques. The more comprehensive the descriptions and comments about the websites the more effective and useful your list will be.

Think what could happen if you expand and develop the use of this free resource. What if you included more people within your organisation and expanded the topics covered by this list of websites. As long as the list is separated into categories for each topic, and perhaps even a contents page written, it will remain useful and effective.

Take your first action today

Take your first action today while the idea is fresh in your mind.

Start to create your list and decide where you are going to keep it. In my experience it only takes one person to start this list rolling and others will soon join in and want to share the resource.

So let me offer you these first links and descriptions to start your sales team training and motivation list of web pages and free resources on the Internet.
